Moving forward as always, we're starting to find that our old static website format is becoming a pain to keep updated, so we've taken the plunge and installed a CMS on which to base our new site. For the time being this will run alongside the usual standard site, and we'll be gradually migrating everything across to the new site until eventually it replaces the old one.
The new site is still brand new and of course we're still testing, so if you come across any problems please let us know.
This is a good change for us because it allows everyone to contribute to the site (making my job easier!), and also lets us use advanced features like news items, forums, and much, much more. There's also a members area for our customers and partners, where we will be announcing upcoming and projected new designs, technologies and products. For those who are interested in this sort of thing, we're running the Open Source Joomla! CMS (http://www.joomla.org) on our existing hosting space, with a MySQL based back-end.
